A good friend of ours brought their adorable daughter AJ to us for her first birthday pictures, and they came out absolutely adorable. They're Alabama fans too :)
This past week we had a stunning and gorgeous shoot with a beautiful friend of ours, Tammy. I happened to find this amazing amazing chair at a thrift store for a very low price, and no one could have made it look better. I didn't get the pleasure of attending this photo shoot, but I couldn't be more please with how artistic and beautiful these photos turned out! :) Let us know what you think!
Hey TAG fans!! and boy do we need some fans, because it's been ridiculously hot!
Where to start? We have been having so much fun working our buns off on a bazillion different projects, shoots and adventures! Although we have definitely had our woes, obstacles and challenges along this sweaty, exciting summer path of endeavors, we're so proud to say that God has blessed our family and business greatly, and things are definitely on the up and up.
To start! We are about 75% moved in to our new studio/house! We are so thankful that despite the problems we encountered getting this house with a mother-in-law suite to turn into our permanent studio, we are finally getting comfy in it, and have already had a few very fun/cute shoots in it! Being that our studio was used by a previous owner to grow marijuana in, we're still in the process of completely revamping it into a classy, clean, and totally legal photography studio! :) This includes sanding off the marijuana green paint in our studio room, building a dressing room for our clients, setting up our natural light boudoir room, and creating MY very first, and very own office!! I'm so excited on so many different levels. We've been nothing but busy, and are continuing to meet and work with some of Greenville's most amazing and beautiful people.
Secondly, after much toil and trouble getting it set up, we proudly and now have a new mobile site (that's still a little bit under construction)!! Being that our main website is flash based, it was unable to be viewed on smart-phones such as iphone or our phones, the Droid, the company called ifolio has offered a very special application for our website that allows everyone to see our beautiful work on their smart-phones! You can also view it from a computer, however it's a little bit cooler on a phone ;) here's the link...

Amanda and Josh, parents of sweet baby Jake have been friends of Travis and Adelle for years, and we have been waiting for this photo shoot for quite some time now! Baby Jake was born only 4 weeks ago, and was absolutely enthralling to shoot with. I couldn't believe we were bending, twisting and molding this baby into these photos, but for good reason. It was so worth it! He was absolutely precious, and so tiny. I think I could get used to shooting little ones like this :) We offer a really great package right now for newborns! Session fee is only $99.

WHEW!!! These past few weeks have been absolutely nuts for us! We have been working so hard to get into our new studio that I am (SOOOOO) extremely excited about! :) It's absolutely perfect! Me, Adelle and their son Austin literally moved all of our studio out from one to the new in about an hour! We rock at that game. Anyway! We can't get enough of it. Next up?? It seems everyone was pretty busy last year because we have so many infant shoots this month! I can't believe how sweet these babies are! Especially this one we just shot on Monday, Travis' coworkers daughter just gave birth only 8 weeks ago to her first child, and baby Camden is absolutely a doll! He did so well throughout the entire shoot, and we got some stunning pictures. The last one is my favorite! I brought my sons chair and teddy to take pics with, not realizing how tiny Camden was. So adorable. His daddy is a hunter, hence the camo. <3
So, I'm going to be a teensy tiny bit selfish with this blog. Because I can.
First of all, as you all know, I, Amy Adair am TAG Photography's manager. I adore absolutely every minute of my job, and absolutely EAT up every chance I get to be a part of the shoots. Which is every single one of them. :) However, it is becoming a more frequent occasion that I get to take the entire shoot like clay in my hands, and make something super fantastic out of it. That would technically be the "Designer" part of my "Designer Marketing Manager" title. But, what you may not know, is I...(drumroll please...) am also a jewelry and accessory designer. :) This was actually my first love and the passion closest to my heart for years before I linked up my magic with Travis and Adelle's crazy talent...so today I unleash a collaboration of two super powers that came together as one. Pop the popcorn, prepare yourself because this is about to be EPIC!!
Here's how it all went down. TAG Photography, incase you didn't know this already, holds a model of the month competition every month. Basically you fill out an application and in so many words write why you think you should be our Model of the Month! Well, this month it was perfect and special because we didn't have a winner. We had 2! And they happened to be besties. So we shot them together. I jumped allll over this oportunity like mushrooms on my lawn after a hot n' humid night storm. Our studio looked like the juniors department at Macy's the other day, I had so much fun styling these girls! I told them each to pack a suitcase, and that they did. Yet, so did I. I brought clothes and jewelry to tie the two girls together for twinsy sort of looks with my jewelry. It worked out awesomely!
Aside from this, the girls were really fun to work with, even if they were glued to their cell phones the entire time, they were super photogenic and silly! I loved them. And Autumn, the blondie, actually had shot with us before, and just scheduled her engagement shoot! We're all so excited for her. Her friend Brittany was a newbie to TAG, but did great and her pictures turned out absolutely...gorgeous. I'm so in love with them! Our very first model of the month has made her comeback!! We had an awesome shoot with her the other day that I got to style...She was so fun and easy to work with!
She looks absolutely stunning in solid colors with a pop of interest and color from her jewelry. The day was gorgeous and we got to shoot some out on the train tracks, which was interesting for me since I'd never been out there. The only bad part was we tottttally got bit by a ton of mosquitos!! We will definitely prepare and bring repellent next time!
